• Darrell Henry

    York native Darrell Henry enters his 10th season as the “Voice of the Revolution” in 2016 and his third as General Manager of Sports Radio 1350 WOYK.


    With the York Revolution since its inception, Henry had called every pitch in Revs history until being rushed home from a road trip at Somerset in the wee hours of the morning on September 11, 2011 by Revs pitcher Corey Thurman.  They arrived just in time for the birth of Peyton, the daughter and first child of Darrell and his wife, Kristyn.


    In addition to Revs baseball, Henry has called York College men’s and women’s basketball games for the past ten seasons, including the 2005 Division III Men’s Final Four.  He has also served as a fill-in broadcaster on the Hershey Bears Radio Network.  Henry earned a first-place Pennsylvania Associated Press Award for Best Play-by-Play for his work on Revs baseball in 2007.

  • Dan Connolly

    Dan Connolly has spent more than two decades as a print journalist in Pennsylvania and Maryland. The Baltimore native and Calvert Hall graduate first covered the Orioles as a beat writer for the York (Pennsylvania) Daily Record in 2001 before becoming The Baltimore Sun’s national baseball writer/Orioles reporter in 2005. He has won multiple state and national writing awards, including several from the Associated Press Sports Editors. In 2013 he was named Maryland Co-Sportswriter of the Year by the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association. And in 2015, he authored his first book, “100 Things Orioles Fans Should Know & Do Before They Die.” He lives in York, with his wife, Karen, and three children, Alex, Annie, and Grace.



  • Steve Navaroli

    Well-known local sports journalist Steve Navaroli is a part of the WOYK family,

    bringing listeners local sports information and opinions with flair every Saturday morning on Central PA Gameday with Steve Navaroli, presented by Neighborhood

    ShurSave Markets.


    Navaroli brings nearly three decades of experience in the local sports scene, having covered high school, college (small and large), and professional sports in

    the area. Perhaps best known for his time covering all high school sports, Navaroli now brings his expertise to the radio.


    Originally from St. Clair Shores, Michigan, Navaroli moved to York in 1985 and started as a freelance journalist with the York Daily Record in 1991, before joining

    the staff full-time in 2005, and was a part of the inception of the GameTimePA multi-media website.


    Some area sports fans may know Steve from his 2012 battle with throat cancer, in which several local high school athletes started the Navaroli Nation campaign to

    help support their favorite media person.


    Navaroli resides in Dallastown with his wife Gail, son Andrew and daughter Alexis. Remaining true to his roots, Navaroli is a fan of Detroit professional sports as well

    as Michigan and Michigan State. As an entrepreneur, Steve creates and updates websites for several area schools and athletic teams, plus serves as webmaster for

    the YAIAA. He enjoys coaching his son’s hockey team, as well as attending his daughter’s dance competitions and cheerleading games.


  • Brett Pietrzak

    Brett Pietrzak is a recent graduate of York College of Pennsylvania with a degree in Public Relations. He

    spent most of his undergraduate years writing for numerous online publications covering multiple

    sports, both locally and nationally. In his senior year of college, Pietrzak spent most of his hours taking broadcasting classes to sharpen his skills as he prepared to make a big step in the sports industry.


    Pietrzak spends his work days as an account executive for the York Revolution and WOYK, and his nights as a play-by- play broadcaster for high school basketball, a color analyst for York College Men and Women’s Basketball, and the co-host for Central PA Game day on Saturday mornings.


    As a South Jersey native, Pietrzak spends most of his free time following Philadelphia sports and always give his time to appear on podcasts of any kind.


  • Ray Jensen

    Ray Jensen returns to WOYK after spending the 2017 baseball season interning with the Tampa Bay Rays' Radio Broadcasting department.


    A graduate of York College of Pennsylvania's sport management program in 2016, Ray lended his voice as Public Address Announcer for York College Athletics for most of his undergraduate career before performing the same role for the York Revolution. He also spent time with York College's campus station, WVYC, covering YCP Men's and Women's Basketball.


    Ray originally started working with WOYK in 2014 and has experience broadcasting and reporting on York Revolution Baseball, York College Athletics, and High School Sports.

  • Gareth Hissong

    A York County native, Gareth will be entering his 5th season as color analyst for WOYK 1350 High School Football Game of the Week.  A former Delone Catholic three sport standout, Gareth continued his athletic prowess playing tight end for The College of William and Mary.

    Post college he earned his CPA, after obtaining a BS in Finance and MA of Accounting at William and Mary.  He currently resides in Mechanicsburg, PA and manages the finance and accounting division for an IT firm based out of the greater Harrisburg area.
